We develop, build and operate direct air capture (DAC) machines which capture CO₂ directly from the air. The captured carbon dioxide is removed from the air by safely storing it underground, permanently.

Your mission

Job description
  • Customer Acquisition: You focus on acquiring new customers through ongoing prospecting, participating in events, building relationships with key stakeholders, delivering customized presentations in person and online, providing written proposals, offering subject matter expertise on products, and negotiating long-term contracts.

  • Customer Relationship Management: You manage customer relationships throughout the entire process, from acquisition to delivery, ensuring seamless communication and support.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work across advisory, marketing, finance, communication, and strategy teams to align efforts and drive business success.

Your story

Requirements
  • Education & Experience: You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Economics, along with 4–8 years of B2B sales experience, successfully closing multi-million-dollar, multi-year deals with large companies and engaging with top management.

  • Industry Expertise: You have a strong background in the Aviation and/or Shipping industries, with an established network and familiarity with organizations such as IATA, ICAO, and IMO. Experience in the carbon credit market is a significant advantage.

  • Skills & Abilities: You are a skilled negotiator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences, a creative problem solver who can structure solutions for varied client needs, and a self-motivated professional with strong time management skills.

  • Location & Travel: You are based in Texas, New York, or California, or willing to relocate, and available to travel up to 50%.

Salary:
At Climeworks, we carefully consider market indicators to determine the compensation model for our positions. The salary range has been set by factors such as function, career level, and location and therefore may vary. The US base salary for this full-time position is typically $130,000-$170,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We use the recruitment process to determine your career level, job-related skills, and depth of experience to make an informed and fair salary offer.

Formalities:

  • This position is fully remote in California or on a hybrid basis in New York or Austin, Texas.
